Like most things in the distillery, our van has a name. He is called Marvin! And he is now sporting some snazzy new decals. Give him a wave if you see him delivering gin around the north west!

This year, Sandgrown Spirits entered Lytham Gin Bee's Knees and The Navigator's Navy Strength gins into the Guild of Fine Food's Great Taste Awards. We are delighted to have received Two Star Awards for both products and some amazing feedback. To receive two stars for any product is pretty special..... to be awarded this accolade for both of our entries is something to celebrate! Gin and Tonic anyone?
The Navigator's Navy Strength : A really enticing, complex, exciting aroma, a medley of juniper, herbs and spices. Powerful on the palate, but with a glorious meld of almost sweet fruitiness, indefinable but appealing herbs and a touch of spice - and yes, remarkably, a creamy finish. Ridiculously smooth for its abv, this really is rather remarkable....Really Innovative - a stand out gin.
Bee's Knees Old Tom Gin : Appealing pale gold and silver hues and a delicate floral nose . The lavender scent is present but not overwhelming. Beautiful palate with a very good balance of sweetness and lightness. A really gentle finish. This gin is clearly a 'lady' rather than an Old Tom ! The lasting note is of a warm summer garden with bees murmuring on lavender bushes. Lovely.
