The Quest for the Perfect Mixer

I’m not going to lie! One of the best things about my job is the research and development that goes into making sure that Lytham Gin and Lytham Rum make the perfect drink every time. And this involves tasting it. And trying it with different mixers to see which work best.

We’ve recently discovered The Artisan Drinks Co and have paired our gins and rums with some of their mixers so successfully that we are going to be stocking them in our new tasting room and also selling them in our online shop.

We can’t wait to share them with you!

The perfect G&T

We've changed our 5cl caps!

In a bid to remove every scrap of plastic from our packaging, we have changed the caps we use on our 5cl bottles from plastic to aluminium. This is better for the environment because they are more easily recyclable, are not made from crude oil and use less energy to transport because they are lighter.

It does mean that for a short time our gift sets will contain a mixture of the two types of closure as we use up our stock. But I'm sure you won't mind ... it's what's inside that's important! and that is still the same high quality, award winning gin that you expect! Chin-chin!

It’s February... and we love you!

February is the month of love and to celebrate Valentines Day we are giving you a little treat. Some matches are made in heaven and we are including a bag of Fiddlers Lancashire Sauce crisps and a perfect serve Fevertree tonic with every 70cl bottle of Lytham Gin bought this month.
