LIMITED EDITION - UNITY CHARTER GIN - 45% ABV

Introducing a very special limited edition coastal gin. A high strength, high flavour, premium, limited edition gin combining only the finest foraged botanicals from both towns to celebrate 100 years of UNITY.  

This is a traditional london dry gin with hints of citrus and spice with added coastal freshness through the use of Marsh Sampphire from Lytham, Seabuckthorn from St Annes, and Sea Aster which grows along the coast between the two towns.

This limited-edition gin is sure to make a great addition to any drinks cabinet.

SANDGROWN SPIRITS - A LITTLE BIT OF LANCASHIRE IN EVERY DROP

Serve 50ml of Unity Gin with Fevertree Premium Tonic, a slice of lime, and lots of ice for a complex, fresh coastal gin & tonic.  If you want to really elevate the fresh coastal notes of Unity Gin, try garnishing with Cucumber or Samphire.

Marsh samphire, sea buckthorn, sea aster, bitter orange, kaffir lime leaves, rowan berries, grains of paradise, and liquorice.

NOSE: Unity Dry Gin has a round juniper character, citrus notes from the sea buckthorn and orange are given additional complexity from the floral notes of sea aster and the freshness of samphire.

PALATE:  The samphire gives Unity a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel even with the heat you would expect from such a high abv.  Classic earthy notes of angelica and orris are complemented by a mellow sweetness of liquorice and sea aster alongside the tartness of sea buckthorn.

FINISH:  Peppery grains of paradise lead into a finish of orange, Kaffir lime leaves and with a zing of rowan berries.

Apart from making an amazing G&T and Martini, you could be a little more creative, and try a Margatini., 50ml Unity Gin, 25ml Orange Liqueur, 25ml Fresh Lime Juice, 10ml Honey or Sugar, shake together with ice and serve in a salt-rimmed glass.
